Bei meinen USA Aufenthalten habe ich ganz klar eine Motel/Hotelkette bevorzugt. Best Western. Und da es sie dort sowieso fast überall gibt, war es auch kein größeres Problem die Tagestouren so zu planen, dass man irgendwo eines fand zum Übernachten. Auf Karte geschaut...kurzer Anruf.... reserviert! Und nicht einmal war ich enttäuscht. Die Zimmer geräumig, sauber und gepflegt.... TV und Telefon standardmässig.... der Service erstklassig und das Personal sehr, sehr freundlich. Zumindest in USA. Hier in Deutschland habe ich bis jetzt noch nicht in einem Best Western Hotel übernachtet. Und oftmals gab es auch einen Preisnachlass, man muss nur mal freundlich nachfragen. Aber auch ohne diesen sind die Preise, gemessen an der Leistung wirklich in Ordnung. Und sollte doch einmal eine kleine Beanstandung sein (TV funktionierte nicht), reicht ein kurzer Anruf an der Rezeption und innerhalb von Minuten wurde Abhilfe geschaffen. Ich kann diese Hotelkette wirklich nur empfehlen. Jedenfalls für USA-Reisende.
